about

This album is the first recording by multi-instrumentalist B. M. Zucchini who also writes, produces and records in his own studio. Inspired by jazz musicians of the Blue Note era of the late 50's and early 60's, BMZ has a unique style of his own. Most of the recordings emphasize the atmosphere and environment of modality. More GROOVES than SONGS, this music is both meditative and entertaining. With a strong dislike of mainstream music and cliched stylistic devices, BMZ's compositions retain a "timeless" and not "dated" quality. The music is cerebral, and meditative with a searching feel. At least that's what he says.

Playing a nylon string acoustic guitar over some lush, smooth, and very mellow rhythms. A definite album to add to your Weather Channel / Elevator music collection! ... more
